PpOZO and studioplay®: A Renewed Brand Identity for Amsterdam Zuidoost
As a resident of Amsterdam Zuidoost and the father of children who participate in PPOZO's events, such as the summer school, it was a special project to work with PPOZO on their brand identity. PPOZO, the Zuidoost Primary Education Project Office, asked us at studioplay® to embed their values and social role more strongly in their visual identity.
From a shared mission to connect education and community, we developed a brand identity that reflects the core of PPOZO. Through creative sessions with PPOZO employees, we came up with a logo and corporate identity that is not only colorful and sympathetic, but also shows their commitment to the neighborhood. The new website offers parents and education professionals intuitive access to PPOZO's events and services.
Together with local photographer Les Adu, who took images of both the children and the PPOZO team, we strengthened the relationship with the Zuidoost community. This project shows how important it is to be locally involved and to work on a strong, visual identity that supports the social impact of an organization such as PPOZO.
For me, this collaboration is a way to not only contribute creatively, but also to be actively involved in an organization that means so much to our neighborhood.
